when you have a best friend since kindergarden, and now you are a sophomore, dont you with you would still be best friends?..well that is not what happend in Kara and Jordans friendship. Jordan suppenly becomes a cheerleader and Kara is being ignored because she sudenly becomes popular.. do you think they will ever be friends after such a diss?..read to find out!..i would recomend this book because it shows the true meaning of friendship and what it really is..i loved it and i am sure you will to.:)

Melody Carlson is one of my favorite authors. She truly gets how teenagers feel and think; not the sterotype way we feel. Her books are Christian fiction, so they deal with God. In this book, when Kara's friend Jordan becomes popular, they stop hanging out as much. All this time alone is making Kara feel lonely. She has nobody, or so she thinks. This is a story, as are most in the True Colors series, of finding God.
