Introducing the three friends:

Angela is the hyper overdramatic one.

Maddie is the crazy and incredibly alive one.

And Zoe is the extremely sensible one.

Welcome to their life!

Told entirely in IM messages this novel is incredibly funny. The characters feel real and you will be able to sympathise with them. All teen girls should read this book!

I absolutely loved this book. A must buy. At first, I knew I wanted to read this, but I didn't want to waste my money, but I bought it any way. And I am really glad I did. I read this book in 1.5 hours. It was REALLY good. Written in AIM form, it cracked me up so much. I'm sure all girls can relate to this. Maddie, is the more punkish crazy emo girl of the group. Angel is the boy crazy one, and Zoe is the smart quiet one. I loved this book and am definately going to get the next one!

Zoe, Angela, and Maddie have been best friends for four years, and they promise each other they'll be friends forever, no matter what. But when Zoe's teacher acts like he's more than just her teacher, Angela gets dumped, and Maddie wants to join the popular crowd, will they be able to stay friends and keep everything together?

TTYL is a unique book because it is told completely in IM language, and will appeal to many teens because of it. It also shows how strong friendships can be, and to always stick by your friends. This kind of reminds me of Cassie, Emily, and Lydia's friendship in The Year of Secret Assignments.Readers will love TTYL and won't be able to forget Zoe, Angela, and Maddie.

I thought this books was hialirous because it was easy to realte to and it was refreshing how instead of actaul charcterizatoin the author used ims which all teenagers use to communicate to convey messages. I thought that made the book better because it made you think about connecting the events that happened. Any teenager can understand about falling into the popular crowd and doing things you normally wouldn't do becasue of it like Maddie or this doesn'toccur as often but when older people get flirty like in ZOe's situation. And who could forget feeling dumped and left out like aNgela does in the bok but the mainthem is that firned are there for one another and thats what akes ttyl such a good book.

ttyl was SOOO good. its about these 3 girls who have been nest friends for a long time. they enter 10th grade and sware that they're gonna stay best friends no matter what. but maddie deciedes she wants to hang out with the "popular" girl in school (but ends up being black mailed by them when she gets drunk at a party...) and eh, Angela (im pretty sure it was her) starts going to church with one of her teachers, who eventually try to do some inappropriate things with her in a hot tub... and Zoe (or it coulda been angela, i kept getting them mixed up) keeps falling in love and getting her heart broken, leaving the other 2 to pick up the pieces... sounds like real life, right? plus the whole thing is written in IM, which makes it even more realistic, and easy to understand.

It was so great to read a good book again! I couldn't put it down! Anyways, I love how it was written in IMs between Zoe, Angela, and Maddie and that it was just normal tenage problems- using "friends," cheating boyfriends, and- well, maybe a hot tub party with your teacher isn't that normal! Anyway, love the book. Hope Lauren Myracle writes a sequel!

At the beginning of tenth grade, best friends Angela(SnowAngel), Maddie(madmaddie), and Zoe(zoegirl), vow to stay friends no matter what comes their way.

But Angela's heart is broken by her boyfriend, Maddie makes the biggest mistake of her life, and Zoe is swept off her feet by....a teacher.

This book is great, in the fact that it doesn't just revolve around those things,in their IM conversations, they talk about everything, from after-school plans, to mean, backstabbing Queen Bee.
A great read, because it could be anybody's life.
