What teen hasn't wondered if there's something more to their life or if their parents are really, you know, theirs.

Alex and Cam are twins that were separated at birth. They are also powerful witches...they just don't know it yet.

A twist of fate (or perhaps some prodding from one of their unseen guardians) throws them together and also into the path of danger. A powerful witch would like to control the twins and seeing them together is more temptation than he can resist.

It will take all their newfound power (and the help of their guardians) to stay free. Meanwhile, they aren't even sure that they like each other. AND, they solve the mystery of a pop star's disappearance. These girls do it all.

This promises to be an exciting series filled with plot twists and intriguing characters. Be sure to read the interview with H. B. Gilmour, one of the authors, for an inside look at the second book in the series.

The official Scholastic site features some great info on the books, free downloads and an opportunity to e-mail the T'Witches.

T*Witches: The Power of Two
Randi Reisfield and HB Gilmour.

Identical twins. Separated at birth. For one very good reason . . . Camryn Barnes Smart, upbeat and popular, Cam is all about friends, family, school, and soccer. She¹s best of breed all around. Except for one bone-chilling secret. Cam sees things happening before they happen. Very bad things.

Alexandra Fielding Spunky, punky, and sarcastic, Alex is all about making it from day to day. It¹s just her, her mom, and a ratty tin box called home. Whatever9Alex can deal. Except for the weirdness. Alex hears things. The things people think but haven¹t said.

If they ever met . . . They could combine their powerful gifts and help people. Maybe even solve the mysterious star-napping that happened during Cam¹s soccer game. They could start to figure out who they really are; who their biological parents really are9or were. They could fall into the hands of the powerful warlock who wants them for evil . . . or dead.

They're about to meet.

This is a fantastic start to a great series! The Power Of Two takes you on the journey of Alex and Cam, drawing you into their intertwining lives.  The Power of Two is a smart book that I had a hard time putting down. Through this drama packed book, you find yourself drawn deep into the story, not ever letting go.

*Just a note, the books are absolutely nothing like the movies with the exception of the movie took the character names.

T'witches is a good book for children in my opinion. It shows how the bond between two sisters can make anything possible and though those two sisters may have completely different personalities and upbringing and fight a lot, they can still work together and be friends.

T'witches is a decent book that young children would enjoy very much.

This is the beginning of a fascinating 10 book series.

At birth, their father was murdered by one of their maniacal uncles. Apolla and Artemis Dubaer, named after the sun god and moon goddess, were separated at birth, raised by different families, never to grow up on their homeland, never to know the other existed, never to know that they were witches.

A twist of fate (or possibly the doing of an evil Thantos Dubaer) brings them together at the theme park where Artemis, now known as Alexandra Nicole Fielding, works.

Shortly after they meet, Alex's adoptive mother dies. The other twin, now known as Camryn Alicia Barnes, welcomes Alex into her home. And so the story begins.

H.B. Glimor and Randi Reisfeld catch your heart throughout the series as the twins fight for their lives, deal with deaths of loved ones, and prepare for their coming initiation, a test that boots them up to full witch level. But the twins also do the kinds of things regular teens would do. They deal with schoolwork, tell off snarky classmates, and fall in love.

It's not only about the twins. Their guardian, Ileana, goes through some pretty tough stuff, too. At this point of the series, though, the twins have no idea of anything in their lives. They don't know who or even if their parents
were--alive or dead.

Only one thing is for certain. They are teens. Twins. Witches.

T*Witches.

This is the beginging of the series.

Someone dies and the witches are united. They learn about each other, their past, their powers, and about themselves. People are after them and they must stay alert. Fortuneatly they have two loving guardians that help them every step of the way. They each have a necklace that their father gave them before he was murderd.
