In 1939, 4 year old Sylvia lives in the Warsaw ghetto. When she is 10 years old, she and her family struggle to surviv in Poland's Lodz ghetto during Nazi occupation. this book went into really good detail of what happened in Sylvia's life during the Holocaust and how she survived by hiding in dark places and in grates. Even though she was so young, she had to stay strong for her family.
