Enzo reveals that his organisation have been using an algorithm to pick candidates for which they leave an inspiring gift. For centuries the Order has sought to encourage children to be the best version of themselves they could be. A doctor, a musician or maybe even… a scientist? Fascinated, Oliver swears to do good all year round – and agrees to monitoring via fantastic wearable tech – essentially the naughty or nice list in real-time - over wi-fi. Oliver’s twelve-month journey of discovery begins and he learns that Christmas is NOT just for Christmas.
But it seems that not all children have the right stuff. When Oliver’s older sister Megan falls under the spell of Arthur MacGregor, she learns of other youngsters whose experience with the Order has gone awry. Believing her little brother to be in danger, she teams up with MacGregor’s band of misfits, bent on exposing the Order of Saint Nick and uncovering truths the world may not be ready to learn.
