Underwear Fairy, Oona Brambelgoop, and her friends Horace and Lucy (the Tooth Fairy) are trying their hardest to prove they are responsible citizens of Fairydom, and catching the culprit of the great glitterberry warehouse theft is the perfect way to do it.
But when the leprechaun gold Lucy has given kids for their teeth also goes missing AND she starts to lose her magic, the friends realize this must be about more than just berries. It turns out Lucy has been manipulating magic to get more gold and the leprechauns are not happy!
Oona will have to use all the creativity she can muster to stand up to the leprechauns and save Lucy’s job. Can she restore harmony between the two magical communities before Lucy loses her magic for good?

Oona is back with her friend, the Tooth Fairy, Lucy, and her cousin, Horace, to solve the mystery of why the glitterberries were stolen. It becomes clear that the Leprechauns are behind the theft and are also causing more mischief with Lucy’s job.
Lucy and Oona try to stop the thieves and Horace tries to get them to talk with the Leprechauns to find out why they are mad. It was interesting that while the Leprechauns are being treated as a nuisance, Lucy has wronged them and doesn’t see what she has done as a problem.
When Lucy and Oona see that what they have done was wrong, and atone for their actions, making it a heartwarming tale of conflict resolution. Oona gets a lot of credit for her magical solution and gets the special privilege of serving on the council for magical relations. That seems like an ill-gotten gain. Horace is the one who knows the fairy rules and is advocating the whole time to try to talk to the Leprechauns, so I think it makes more sense for him to get the honor.
The chapter book is highly illustrated, and the text is all green, making it a festive choice for a book about Leprechauns. It continues to be a story with fun and silly magic, making it a great book for beginning chapter book readers and a younger audience than it is marketed for.

The continuing adventures of Oona the Underwear Fairy (yes you read that right) as she and her friends investigate the latest trouble in the neighborhood. Everything about this is so cute and quirky, just like the sort of adventure kids would cook up when playing pretend together.
There's the traditional tooth fairy, but also slug fairy (who can talk to slugs! surprisingly helpful), the underwear fairy, and many more magical beings. Overall, this story is about supportive friends solving a mystery, and asking questions that I've never thought to have, such as, why do leprechauns wear such uncomfortable shoes?
All text is printed in thematic green ink, with many illustrations and fairy fact asides (aka footnotes) to give extra flavor to the story.
Fans of the series will gobble this up, and new readers will be charmed by the characters in no time.
