I liked this book but it took to long to get going and wanted more things to happen or atleased more interesting things to happen. James Maloney went far but not far enough he could've gone further with his ideas for the book. I'm reading another of his books now, and he has some okay ideas but I don't think he will use that to his advantage. Plus why do adults have to judge the book kids should than he (Maloney) could get some real feedback.

This book should be read and understood carefully. I think only advanced readers shoud read this or above the age of 12 years of age. The relationships involved in thia book is very deep and should be explored deeply. Ths book is interesting

Yes i thought it was a great book. Our class red it as an assignment. The issuses in the book really do relate to teenages. I would read this book again. Sad ending tho.

Hi My Name Is imogen, i read this book as part of my english class. I thought that reading a class novel would be really boring, but i was wrong.
I thought that at the start the book may have been a bit slow, but i was really interested once i got into it properly. I thought the book was great because it had a lot of realistic problems and insecurities that real teens have.
This book was great!

hi i'm Eda and I read this book for a book assignment. at the start it was a bit boring and repetetive, but after that it was really interesting and suspending. I couldn't put the book down! I would often stay up late just to finish the chapter! I would say that this is nearly the best book i've read. i give it a 9 out of 10. Well done James Moloney!

I'm a high school student studying this book for English. I'm an avid reader, and love reading. I'll read anything but romance and horror. I was intrigued by the blurb on the book, but when I started reading the book, I found it distinctly boring. I was tempted to leave it, but unfortunately my English teacher would not compromise on that front.
Having read the book (twice) I can safely say that it is one of the more terrible I've read. In fact, it is easily the worst book I have ever read. The characters are exaggerated, grey and unlikable - the hero, Carl Matt, is an overweight boy who does not have a strong personality. My English teacher goes on about how he is sensitive, but I honestly cannot see how that is the case. He is a fat boy who pervs on girls.
