A Guide To Plants for Little Witchlings introduces kids to nature and some basic plants that they should be able to find in their area. It includes information on what they look like, how they can be used and includes some rituals that kids can get involved in.
What I Liked: I would have killed for a book like this as a kid. It is fun, informative and a great way to introduce children to the world of magic and witches. There is enough to keep kids entertained and it is educational too. I do like how there are a few tasks they can do that encourage them to eat healthier too.
What Left Me Wanting More: Honestly, not a lot. My only issue would be when it comes to identifying plants, I prefer real images to avoid mistakes, but the illustrations are clear and as they are common types of plants and none of them are dangerous, they should be easy to identify.
Final Verdict: A beautifully illustrated, informative book that kids will love. It gets them involved, makes them feel like they are a part of nature and encourages them to be kind to the natural world. I would definitely recommend it.
