The final book of the Series of Unfortunate Events was an amazing adventure. It brings back are favorite people Violet, Sunny, and Klaus. The story begins in a ship and ends in an island. The book gives us answers to many questions, but mostly did not answer some of the most important.
some people did not like the ambiguous ending, but i liked it. How else would the great lemony snicket end his book, but in mystery. Did you really think he was going to answer all the questions? I thought it was a great ending to a great series.

The orphans still are unlucky and misfortunate along with they don't anything about their family or the organization their parents supposedly were in.Count Olaf is still after their money and wealthbut not succeding in achieving it, in fact he is not even close. So they would reach a island and meet natives who are freindly, but odd. They say everything eventually washes up on their shores. Count Olaf wants to conquer this island and make all the native his minions. The end was strange, but other than that it was a great book. I think it should answer more of all the unanswered questions. Such as is the children's parents still alive and many more. This is most definately the best out of the whole entire series. It was my favorite. This particular book would be best for many young readers who like depth to their books and finding out what happens next. What I am trying to say is a complex book with a well developed plot.

The End brings us back into the amazing unfortunate but equally exciting lives of Violet, Klaus and Sunny Baudelaire. When we last left them in Book 12 they were leaving the roof of a building...by boat. This book begins almost directly after the previous book ends. Soon they find themselves landing on a little piece of land. Fortunately...and unfortunately for them, the island is already inhabited (much to the distress of Count Olaf who wanted to name it Olaf-Land). Soon the Baudelaires will find them launched into a series of...unfortunate events. But in The End with the tables turn?

The End was a great ending to the series and tied up most of the loose ends. But I suppose we can always imagine those. After all, a story is never over!

I don't know if its just me, but reading the last book in the series left me thinking: thats it? I love love love this series and I had been infatuated with it for awhile, but the book seemed to leave eveything loose and nothing was tied up. I am craving the end to the end because in my opinion, this end just didn't cut it!
