Reader reviewed by Bob

This book was  the worst. My daughter had to read it for Summer Reading and she liked it but the print is so small it took her over 6 months to read it, and she is a really fast reader. I dont get why it won awards it had NO POINT AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!

I RECCOMEND NOT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE A REALLY GOOD AMOUNT OF TIME ON YOUR HANDS!!!!!!

This book is based around the premise that a regular boy and his autistic sister are moving to Alcatraz (their dad is a guard). Not only does the main character have to deal with the move and making new friends, but also with the protection of a sister he sometimes wishes he didn't have.

What I liked best about this book was it's glimse into history. Not only does it tell about the prisoners that were sent to Alcatraz, but also the sad history of how people with disabilites were treated in the past.
