All About the Brain written by Dr. Gabriel Dabscheck is an engaging non-fiction picture book that teaches young readers all about the most important organ in the human body. Author Dr. Gabriel Dabscheck is a pediatric neurologist who uses his knowledge to explain the function of the brain in simple terms that even young readers can understand.
What I Liked: In the book, the author provides a wealth of information about the brain, including how much it weighs and how it controls each of our five senses. While the book contains a great deal of information, the pages don't feel crowded or overwhelming. It is written in a large font size and important details have been bolded to emphasize their importance. Kim Slew's illustrations and color palate choice enhance the already captivating book.
All About the Brain is a must-read for curious minds who enjoy the interesting facts and straightforward way the information is presented.
