CLACK-CLACK, LITTLE CRAB! is a cute, interactive board book that toddlers will love. A little crab is wide awake and decides to find its friends, waking them up. When the tide rolls in, his friends surprise him by popping out from behind a coral.

What I loved: This book features cool pull-outs that make sounds when moved. They have a handle peeking out of the side, changing features of the images on the page along with a small sound. The images are adorable and colorful with the pull-out changes relating to the story (such as starfish being asleep and then awake when pulled out with the clack-clack sound). These smart features make for a fun reading experience as little ones enjoy the images and sounds.

The story and text are very simple throughout, making pages turn quickly. This is perfect for little attention spans. Due to the interactive nature of the book, this works best for toddlers, who will love pulling out the handles themselves on each page.

What left me wanting more: As a small thing, some of the handles were really tough to pull out, which requires toddlers to get some help (and they, of course, would love to do it themselves). Most of the handles were fine, but I think the noise mechanism can make some of them stick and need a bit of force to pull out.

Final verdict: CLACK-CLACK, LITTLE CRAB! is a delightful and engaging board book that is sure to charm toddlers!
