My children and I really enjoyed reading Cookie Queen together!
Cookie Queen: How One Girl Started Tate's Bake Shop is a fantastic, easy to follow story about Kathleen King and her persistence to find the best cookie recipe that everyone will want to purchase.
My kids were really impressed to be reading about a young girls actual life experience in starting her own cookie company at age eleven.
The story itself was easy for my children to follow along with, and wasn't too bogged down with larger words.
The illustrations were delightful. The color scheme is very spot on with what children think of for farms, and the expressions were easy to read.
I loved that they included a recipe at the end of the story! My kids are so excited to try a famous cookie recipe.
