Destiny and Livvys mother committed suicide and they found a camp with healing environment so they became counselors there. They become entranced by one of the other counselors, a mysterious and handsome young man with an Italian accent. With his charm and good looks he was able to draw them away and turn Livvy into a vampire like himself. His ritual was interrupted with Destiny, making her a neophyte. He followed her home to await the full moon and another opportunity, but the blood-drained animals and people that turn up dead by Destinys house warns her of his arrival. This was a frightening tale, one you wont want to read in the evening which is when the vampires come out.
