If you hadn't noticed lately, author R. L. Stine, famous for his books for the 8 - 12 age group, has been venturing into new markets. With books for adults (The Sitter) and Dangerous Girls for older YA readers, Stine is expanding his appeal.

Similar to his series books for younger readers, Dangerous Girls is packed with short, concise chapters that keep you turning the pages. Also true to form, the ending is not what you think it will be (or perhaps even what you hope it will be).

Twin sisters Destiny and Livvy are camp counselors. While there, they meet the darkly seductive Renz. He infects them both with vampirism, in search of his lost love Laura. He then follows them back home, hoping to complete Destiny's transformation into a vampire.

The main bulk of the book is taken up with the search for the Restorer, someone who can stop them from turning into full vampires before the next full moon. Mysterious deaths occur and no one knows who is responsible.

Other twists and turns, all revealed in the final few chapters, will have readers reeling in shock from one to the other. Growing fans of Stine's other books will find this one a compelling read, especially if they have outgrown the Goosebumps or The Nightmare Room books. I primarily recommend this book for ages 12 and up.

Destiny and Livvys mother committed suicide and they found a camp with healing environment so they became counselors there. They become entranced by one of the other counselors, a mysterious and handsome young man with an Italian accent. With his charm and good looks he was able to draw them away and turn Livvy into a vampire like himself. His ritual was interrupted with Destiny, making her a neophyte. He followed her home to await the full moon and another opportunity, but the blood-drained animals and people that turn up dead by Destinys house warns her of his arrival. This was a frightening tale, one you wont want to read in the evening which is when the vampires come out.

Destiny and livvy are twins that have lost there mom and the go to camp blue moon were, dream boy, Renz is counselor and after going to the lake with him destiny finds herself confused and starts to have a change in appetite.

A wonderful book filled with horror, love, mystery. I loved a good shiver up your spine kinda book and this is one of those.

I really enjoyed the two books that i read. I think there wiiil be a nother one. If this is i will be getting that one two. Because i like to read the books. I think it was good about the two sister and how they were fighting. And then what happend at the end of the book. How they left it as a mestery.

Destiny and Livvy Weller are twin sisters that are very different in personallity but find out that they share a dangerous secret, they are both turning into vampires.on the last night of camp Moon Light where both girls are counsoulors Destiny and Renz go off for a romantic walk that turns into a complete transformation in both.

This book is a thrilling book in the R.L. Stine series Dangerous Girls. Two teens come back from what they thought was Summer Camp but what was really their worst nightmare even though they didnt know it at first. A 100 year old vampire comes to search for his beloved Laura who has been dead for the longest time. He was the one that made the two girls' (Destiny and Livvy's) mom die all because he thought she was Laura. After that long Summer at camp, Livvy and Destiny have been getting real bad "alergic reactions" to the sun, an undesirable quench to drink blood and... sharper teeth? Find out if Destiny and Livvy will become creatures of the night forever or... will there be a way to save them???
