FARM: MY FIRST TOUCH AND EXPLORE is an interactive board book that takes children around the farm. The book is written with some phrases and some questions, such as asking children to count, name colors, or identify animal sounds. It also contains a couple flaps to lift and plenty of touchable images.
What I loved: This is a charming and interactive board book that toddlers can get into. It has some activities suggested, including a search-and-find, things to trace, and sounds to make, as well as things to test their knowledge of colors and numbers. The touchable images and flaps to lift add to the fun of exploring the pages. The font is large and clear throughout, making it easy to read aloud and help in early word recognition. The images are colorful and contain some photographs, which toddlers will love. The pages are also very sturdy, including the flaps, making them a bit harder to rip.
What left me wanting more: As a small thing, some of these questions could be a bit difficult for the intended audience, such as the colors, which are not primary colors but a pinkish-purplish color, and two shades between orange and yellow (one leaning yellow mix and the other leaning orange mix). It would be helpful if these matched the age ability of the book, which would otherwise be around the 2 year mark.
Final verdict: Interactive and colorful, FARM: MY FIRST TOUCH AND EXPLORE is an overall engaging board book with flaps and things to touch.
