I love the book freedom crossing.Its sad happy nice a sweet.I think Laura is a good person.She tries to help Martin, a slave run away.It was sad that Laura's mother died and now she has to live in Virgina with her Aunt and Uncle.

I really enjoy the book Freedom Crossing and I hope she makes another book.

a huge blast of exciting events about slavory for students and adults to enjoy and understand all about the importance of our world at all times of every lifetime. I also believe that she could also have put more entertainment in all of Laura and Bert Eastman + Joel's adventures.

What I think about this book ("Freedom Crossing")is a little different from other people.I think this boook real went deep inside.Of course this book had a few typoes ,but I think if you are gonna read it you should be able to find out what it says pretty easy.Well,this book is what says somthing to you , it says, it don't matter what someone looks like ,how they act, or what race they are , you still need to treat them with respect, this story shows how a person can change, and learn to love even people who are a different race then them.That specific person is Laura , she learns to care about the slave, (Martin) ,and decides to eccept him .well,I don't want to spoil this book for you so I guess im done here.Thank you for your time of reading this,I hope it sattisfied you for now bye.

I read this book in my class as a novel study book.I thought it was very interesting because I like to find out about the days way way back.Each day from Monday to Thursday we would read 1-2 chapters.Each time it ended,I wanted to read more!I couldn't though:(Anyway it was a great book to read.(I was glad that at the end Laura Eastman was against slavery)!

I think this book waz amazing. I like it how Mrs. Clark put it 2gether. It's great its very interesting. Alsoits very temmting 2 know what happens next. But see wat happenes in the end i guess i have 2 finish the book. Overall i Think Its the BEST book i read in my life!!!!!!!

I thought that this book was pretty good but in the beggining it could be more exciting. I realy liked Laura and Joel .I think that they would make a good couple. I mean the way they ttalked to each other and how she meets them in the be ggining of the story. I liked this book a lot.

This book made me feel bad for all the slaves in the world! We should of never had slaves. It is sad at the thought,of thinking that people were cruel to other people. This book taught me a lot,I wouldn't like to read it again but it was an okay book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was intresting. It good to read if you don`t know a lot about history, especially slavery.It talks about a girl named Laura and about how she helps a runaway slave to FREEDOM!

Freedom Crossing is a great book. The reason I rated it a three is because the beginning is terrible. This book is about a girl who grew up thinking slavery was alright. When she returns from a four year visit with her uncle and aunt in Virginia, she learns that her family is involved in the underground railroad. She is scared, angry, and hidden in this book. I suggest you read Freedom Crossing. Remember that the beginning is absolutely terrible. Freedom Crossing is a great book for people who are tnn years of age or older.

In the book Freedon Crossing, you are back in slave times. Laura has just come home from the south. Some how (I'm not telling you how) Laura hears about Bert (her brother), and his friend Joel are hiding slaves at their house. The hiding place for slaves is in her room right under her rocking chair. Some how Lauraand Bert have to get Martin (the slave) accros the river to Canada. Joel's father is in jail for helping and people are watching his house, so he can't come. After they get Martin to Tryon's Folly, Joel comes ans shows her some thing, then some on comes and sees Laura and Joel together. Joel says something, and then does something.

What a good book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A must read for every one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
