God’s Little Oceanographer blends science and faith into a book for young readers. Geared for preschool and elementary school-age readers, the book provides an overview of our oceans, marine life, and the various zones within the ocean. Tucked in the corners are scripture quotations taken from the Holy Bible, New Living Translation, to reinforce that God made everything perfect and in his image. The illustrations are richly saturated and well labeled. The text features short paragraphs with some words highlighted in blue for emphasis, and numerous facts are scattered throughout the page, providing information about the animals and the zones of the ocean. The book is mostly about nature, with aspects of faith to reaffirm our need to protect and appreciate what God made.
