Overall I thought it was an good story and well worth reading.
Good Points
I like a good werewolf or shapeshifter story. This takes that genre and gives a different kind of spin, told from the viewpoint of Mel who has the misfortune of getting bitten, then her life becomes a series of increasingly difficult and dangerous challenges as she becomes a werewolf. There is no romance in the book, which isn't a bad thing, it's just different as the author allows us to see how the victim of an animal attack takes her place in this new supernatural world, amid all of the angst, fear and longing that goes with it.
The plot here was well written and kept me hooked till the end, and its main character Mel, is one whose story kept me turning the page long after I should have called it a night. And the secondary character, or I guess antagonist, Timmy, well lets just say he is a real piece of work.
I thought some of the sentences were a little awkward, or it could have been that my sleepy brain couldn't comprehend it quickly. There were times when I was thinking, "When is this chapter going to end?" or that kind of thing. Overall I thought it was an good story and well worth reading.
