IS THERE ALIEN LIFE IN OUTER SPACE provides young readers with a brief look at space and the possibility of life on other planets. It doesn’t get into a lot of detail, keeping the information suited for readers 5 and up.

The book gives some very basic information about how humans first started studying the moon and the advancements that have allowed them to get closer looks at far off planets. There’s also an explanation on what makes it possible for humans to survive on the Earth. And the author also wonders whether other planets and creatures would require the same conditions or if they would have adapted to survive wherever they are located.

The information in this book is combined with beautiful art. From rovers to plants to space itself, the art is gorgeous. The illustrator used a wealth of colors to draw attention to the images while also making sure that the images matched the text around it.

The very back of the book also provides additional information related to the study of astrobiology and a glossary for difficult words that the younger readers may not be familiar with.

Perfect for young readers interested in STEM or space, IS THERE ALIEN LIFE IN OUTER SPACE explores the science behind astrobiology in a way that young readers will understand.
