New Moon picks up at the beginning of Bella's senior year. She is still trying to get Edward to change her into a vampire, and the though of growing up while Edwards stays 17 terrifies her. This book examines her and Edward's realtionship and the extent that they will go to protect each other.
This book is excellent. While I did enjoy the Twilight more, because it contained more interation between the two main characters, this book is equally excellent in its own way. If you get a chance, it's best to read it twice, as suggested by Meyer, because then you will be able to appreciate her interactions with Jake better instead of merely wanting to get to the end of the book.

bella is concerned with turning older than Edward. After a surprise party gone wrong he starts acting unusual. Bella learns that he is going to leave her, and will never come back. After a heart breaking moment in the forest she tries to live her life as she used to.
She tries but to no avial. Her life is meaningless with out Edward. She forms bonds that become even more unusual with time, with new friends. Until she learns that Edward is about to do something very foolish on her behalf. she rushes to save him. I personally loved this book. i do not understand why no one has expressed enthusiasm for this book! i applaud Stephenie Meyers!!! if you read it you won't be sorry. i cried for this book!! Thrilling, and breath taking. Extreamly hard to put down, i finished it in one day!! STEPHENIE HAS STILL GOT IT!!!

I was so excited when I finially got my hands on NEW MOON. I have been waiting since January for its release. I feel in love with TWILIGHT so I knew that NEW MOON was going to rock. And I must say that I was not disappointed at ALL! I finished NEW MOON in 2 days. I couldnt put it down. I related so much to Bella and its like you can really feel her pain in the wriiting. Edward is breath taking as usually. And now there is a new character and a few new plot twists that include the La Push cutie Jacob Black. I love this book so much. Such a great sequal to TWILIGHT. and now I cant wait until ECLIPSE is released!
