Hawthorne is like any small town, everyone knows everything, and is in everyone else's business. When Rebecca and Cordelia move to town Cordelia's cousin Maddie is very excited, her mother Abigail, on the other hand is not. Not only is Abigail mad that Rebecca moved in with them, Maddie's friends "the Sisters of Misery" are not welcoming Cordelia into town the way she wishes. Cordelia and Rebecca are gorgeous, so when they decide they want to open a flower/wicca shop people get jealous and in turn call them witches (their town is infamous for three sisters deaths during the witch trials). When the Sisters of Misery decide to make Cordelia's life hell they do it thoroughly, and she's not the only one to be affected. But could Maddie have stopped it, or did she unknowingly have something to do with it?

I have a thing about books , they have to be original. I hate run of the mill books; drama, fights, and the evil character gets stomped out by the good. I originally thought this book was going to be like that too, but i was pleasantly surprised. This book was amazingly well written, and had a wonderful plot. The characters were also very well developed and easy to relate to--or to hate with all your guts. Sisters of Misery is a very very good book, this is definitely a book you'll want to buy when it comes out.
