Teach Me by R.A. Nelson is one of the greatest books I've read so far. What caught me the most when I picked up this book was the subject. It is about a relationship between a student and a teacher. Yes it's a taboo subject and I know many people who don't even want to touch the book because of that. It's sad because they can't judge a book by it's cover. It was truly and amazing book and Nelson did a really good job with it. Too bad there are still immature people out there who won't even give the book a chance. I bought my own copy after borrowing it from the library because I want to re-read it and keep it in my book shelf. It's that good.

Carolina Livingston, also known as Nine, is a senior in high school. Like she's anything special. Really, how many of those do you know. Well, there is that one little thing that makes her totally different from the average teenage girl. Her secret. And she can't even tell her best friend, Schuyler. What would he think or her if he knew her secret. It'd be unbearable. So she keeps it to herself. Which is a good choice, considering the fact that it's illegal. So what if the man she loves is her teacher? It's not just a little crush that she'll get over. Her loves her back, so what could go wrong? How about...everything.

I absolutely love this book. And the cover is gorgeous too which is always a nice bonus. I think that Teach Me is one of those books that every teenage girl should read. You get really attached to the characters, Nine especially, and you feel like what she does is totally justified. I had absolutely no problem with her actions whatsoever.

Teach Me was written by R. A. Nelson. I have yet to discover what the R and the A actually stand for. If you like this book you may want to check out this author's other books. There are a few but I haven't read them yet. They're on my never-ending list.

I loved this book. when i started to read this book i thought it was gonna be one of those books where a teacher tells the student he loves her and just dumps her but it wasn't like that even though they were teacher and student they loved each other and understood each other and trusted each other but things churn sour when the teacher announces his getting married and she can't figure out what happened was she wrong about him, was he just lying about loving her.

this book is so cool. it has poetry, science and angst in one go. i like it because it explores teacher-student relationship that goes deeper than it should be because both have their own dark sides. mr mann has his own secret that makes him drawn to nine, while nine who has never had any interest in other people couldn't help finding her enthusiastic poetry teacher irresistible.written fron first person point of view, you could feel nine's devastation when mann marries other girl.but i didn't like the revenge part.come on nine, you're better than that!
