The Itsy Bitsy Dino is a remake of the beloved classical nursery rhyme, The Itsy Bitsy Spider, with a new twist: Dino characters. For the most part, you can sing the words and have them fit into the melody, although there were maybe two times that the word choice was a bit awkward. My toddler reading companion enjoyed the book, and we read it several times before she took hold of the book and continued to peruse the illustrations and run her hand over the glossy surface of the board book pages for at least another 10 minutes on her own. Overall, this is an extremely engaging book, perfect to read repeatedly without tiring the adult reading it.
