What I Liked: This book encourages children to form their own concept of a higher being by introducing them to this as love. The book highlights how God is love and that this connects us all and invites children to pray to a higher being. It also highlights that people have various beliefs but that in the end the foundation for all of them is love.

The illustrations throughout this book highlight variations of family structure as the main family in this story is made of two moms and a child. The soft colors of the illustrations go perfectly with the gentle, rhyming text of this story. This book is a perfect story to read with young children throughout the day during quiet time.
