Megan I fifteen year-old takes on a summer job in Michagan to get away from her ever bickering mother and older sister who are trying to plan a wedding, creating an unbearable enviorment for her. But her summer in the fun may not be all she expected because she has to leave behind her boy-friend Nick.

When Megan gets to the theme park she quickly befriends her very bubbly room-mate from L.A and learns of her "many guy friends". But there is one in particluar that she cannot forget. Parker, who she cannot get rid of. But soon there awkward meetings turns into a routine. There friendship quickly grows as Megan soon learns that he is her room-mates older brother.

Sparks soon fly which leaves an unsettled feeling in Megan's stomach because of Nick. Unsure about what to do about the situation, she becomes frustrated. To make matters worse Megan gets more than one surprise visit from two people she would not have mind if they had stayed back at home.

Megan have been tested through out the summer with her job, now it's her hearts turn. Who will she choose? Her boy-friend or the local hottie in the park? If she does will the relationship and sparks keep her going, or is it just another summer love, a fling?

Read the book to find out.

One of the better books (if not the best) that i have ever read. Howthorne's characters come to life with each word written in ink. You get a complete grasp of who they were and how they later evolved throughout the book. However my only complaint with the style in which the book was written in was that the ending came to fast and ended to quickly. I didn't get a proper feel of the "TRUE" relationship between Parker and Megan after the climax, and i really would have liked to see what would have happened.

I would have to say that over-all my favourite character would have definately been Parker. He is a true gentleman, every girls perfect character and is described so thoroughly and vividly that when reading the book i could actually picture every physical detail about him. And sadly left the thoughts of Megan and skippedd right to there encounters at the park and his house. Sadly the only guys like that will ever remain in fictional books. Maybe that is why i was so attracted to this story.

But over-all it is a great read for teens if they are intrested in romanctical books.
