This book had three of my favorite things:
1. A road trip.
2. An alternative POV.
3. A hot guy.

It was funny to see these two come together after a break up. Great story.

This is a dual first person book, which I read with my friend, Tina. She read
Courtney's POV and I read Jordan's. It was a fun way to read a fun
book. I enjoyed it and would probably have enjoyed it nearly as much
had I read it the usual way. There are a lot of flashbacks, and it
being written in present tense made that mildly awkward at first, but
it was barely noticeable most times. My biggest problem was I felt
certain things were being forced on me. Like the constant mention of
Myspace and 'hooking up'. I don't think teenagers talk about social
networking sites nearly as much as adults think they do. For one. And
then the Hooking Up thing. Is that really what teens use to reference kissing? It threw me off a bit. Aside from that, I loved the
story. Everything felt real. I
recommend it if you want something fun and interesting.

I really liked this book... It was so real to the mind of how young
relationships can go and even the drama of the parents affair is
realistic in the times we live in today. Imagine what you would do if
you had to have your ex go with you not only to the same college but
you are driving there together! What fun! And thank you for sharing
this little adventure with us.

The only thing that upset me a little with this book was the
language. I understand that kids today my use more curse words than we
did but I didn't think they were necessary to get the point across in a
teen novel. That would be the only real reason to keep my daughter from
reading this. A few sexual situations also come up that would be
questionable but the story itself is great! A real winner!
