WE DRIVE OVERSIZE LOAD TRUCKS is an informative picture book, perfect for vehicle lovers! The book speaks to the use of oversize load trucks, their process for picking up big loads, and even shows some of the big loads they may carry.

What I loved: This is a fantastic picture book that teaches about oversize load trucks. The book does a great job of speaking to their parts, the work around them, and showing them in action. Using both photographs of actual trucks and drivers alongside illustrations and bright backgrounds, there is much to keep young readers hooked as they read/learn about these trucks.

The book features large font with simple sentences that are great for toddlers to listen to and young independent readers to practice reading. A glossary in the backmatter is a nice touch for additional learning and comprehension. Vehicle lovers will be enchanted by these large vehicles and the cool loads they carry! Even as an adult, it was cool to learn about wind turbine blades and other heavy loads these trucks can handle.
