IN MY GRANDMOTHER'S GARDEN is one of the most charming books I've read lately. It is the story of little Aubyn Eakle, who spends the day in her grandmother's garden sketching flowers and painting pictures. She presents her masterpieces to her loving grandpa, whose tender smile of appreciation makes that peaceful day even more lovely.

Kit Eakle conjurs up some of the warmest, most loving memories of grandparents and grandchildren you ever want to re-live. To be honest, the book had me missing my own grandmother like crazy.

This is a very sweet book that comes with its own music CD. it's sure to be a hit as a lapbook or a book for family bonding. Don't miss it.

This is a wonderful book, accompanied by Kit Eakle's great music. The exquisite watercolors by Jean Eakle are reproduced beautifully in this book. She is a masterful artist, who excels in depicting flowers. This book would be a great gift for either a child or an adult. I already gave my copy to my granddaughters.
