Trick-or-treat! Mouse and Bear are back in a spooky and spectacularly silly follow-up to Ross Collins's beloved There's a Bear on My Chair.
It's Halloween night and Bear is determined to scare Mouse. Mouse, however, isn't fooled by Bear's half-hearted attempts to dress up—his ghostly wailing is just plain ridiculous and his werewolf smells like wet dog. But wait! Who's knocking at the door now? This mysterious monster might just give them both a fright!

Bear is determined to scare Mouse this Halloween. He shows up in many different costumes, but Mouse knows that it's him each time. Until someone in a monster costume arrives - but is it Bear?
What I Liked: I love Halloween books and this was a fun read. Mouse is quite sarcastic when he sees his friend's attempts to scare him, but this appears to be their dynanic as friends.
What Left Me Wanting More: i would have liked to have seen a few more costumes, Bear's attempts are adorable. But this was a quick read that kids will love at Halloween.
Final Verdict: Scares are fun at Halloween, especially between friends. A great story that will keep kids entertained. This would be a good book for kids learning to read too as it is easy to follow. I would recommend it.
