HALLOWEEN PARTY! is a fun Blue's Clues adventure. Join Blue, Joshua, and their friends as they get ready for Halloween - except Magenta does not have a costume yet! What can she be? Readers will follow along as they collect Blue's Clues to figure out a good costume for Magenta, recording clues in the notebook and sitting in the Thinking Chair to figure it out! With brightly colored, full page illustrations, this is a fun mystery game for toddlers and preschoolers.

What I loved: Whether old or new fans of Blue's Clues, this is a charming mystery set around all the fun of Halloween. The search for a costume for Magenta leads them along on a series of hints that some preschoolers may be able to guess on their own. The format follows the show with the collection of hints, writing in the notebook, and using the Thinking Chair to put it together. Not only does this bring in fun themes around Halloween, but it also uses great deductive reasoning and mystery solving that will enchant young readers.
