I loved just about everything about this book.
We start off with our planet, Earth, and slowly work our way out to everything that makes this planet our home. From the people who live here to the animals that graze in fields to the oceans that help create weather.

I wasn't a huge fan of the writing style. To me, it reads essentially as a few, super long, run-on-sentences. Akin to There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly or There's A Hole In The Bottom Of The Sea. The sentence gets longer and longer as more things are added, and the reader easily gets winded, especially when reading it aloud. Granted, younger kids love this.

The illustrations are simply magical. They are super creative and fun. The illustrator (Frasier) uses a combination of techniques/styles. The simple, non-descript silhouettes mix well with the glossy photos. Each page is vibrant and full of beautiful things your child will love to point out.
