Elephant’s poop is pink and blue; Dog’s poop is brown; and Penguin’s looks like sticky goo. So who could the mysterious pile of poop belong to? What Worked: The glittery and colorful squishy swirl of poo in the cutout of the board book was enticing and as I read the book to a child, she made sure to give it a squish before turning every page. The rhyming sentences made the pages flow easily from page to page. The illustrations were bright and colorful. The ending was a silly surprise and sure to get a giggle from the very young who are likely to greatly enjoy the premise of this book as you search for the creature who left the poo.
