During the holidays, this family feeling makes Christmas even more special and enchanting because it brings everyone together to share their stories and favorite food to make. Differences are put aside while they enjoy each other’s company.
The illustrations are cute and colorful, yet give that small town vibe full of comfort. While most people in large cities stick to their family and friends, small town culture means that everyone is family, blood related or not. Being from a rural area, I love how endearing this story is and how it brings an added magic to Christmas that others might not realize exists.
