'All Aboard! The Airport Train' by Nichole Mara, illustrated by Andrew Kolb, is a neat, lift-the-flap book that turns into an airport train when fully open. The book helps with a variety of elementary-level topics, including counting, recognizing shapes, looking for images, much like in a 'Where's Waldo?' book, and seeing colors. There are all different sorts of animals and people on the train, showing off all kinds of diversity.
This book takes kids and adults alike on an interactive trip through the airport train, allowing them to meet lots of different passengers and engage with them in many different ways as they look for missing tickets, imitate instrument sounds, work on matching animals to their owners, and more. On top of it all, the book unfolds to nearly 4 feet. There's so much to see as readers travel aboard the airport train!
