LITTLE MOUSE, WHERE ARE YOU? is a cute board book with flaps to lift and mirrors to enjoy. The book asks different animals where they are, before they reply that they are here on the facing page where they ask in turn where you are before folding down to reveal a mirror. This book includes a squirrel, hedgehog, raccoon, and mouse.
What I loved: This is a very simple concept but works very well for toddlers and older infants. The repetitive text is great for early word recognition and comprehension. The flaps and mirrors are perfect for this age group, making the book interactive and adding to the fun. Each page features simple illustrations, with solid but brightly colored backgrounds, an animal friend flap, and a mirror. The QR code on the back links to a song of the text that adds to the delight of reading.
Final verdict: LITTLE MOUSE, WHERE ARE YOU? is an engaging board book for toddlers and infants that uses repetition, simple illustrations, lift-the-flaps, and mirrors. Recommend the book and checking out the QR code audiobook as well!
