The hugely popular early chapter book series re-emerges with a new look! Brand-new eye-catching cover art brings a modern feel to this classic monster series for young readers.

The kids in the third grade at Bailey Elementary are so hard to handle that all of their teachers have quit. But their new teacher, Mrs. Jeepers, is different to say the least. She's just moved from the Transylvanian Alps and she seems to have some strange powers that help her deal with these mischief-makers. Her methods may be a little unconventional, but, then again, Mrs. Jeepers may be just what the Bailey School kids need.

The book Bailey School Kids: Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots was a cute book. It was a good read for kids and younger children to read. Some times it wasn't very clear on what was happening and sometimes also it was vague, but other than that it was pretty good. Even though it might scare some kids because of the title, it really wasn't that bad of a book. I recomend this book to children if they wan't a fast and easy read.

I am 7 years old and I liked this book a lot; it was cool and fun.  It was interesting.  I would recommend this book for boys and girls who aren't afraid of books like this, but I think that it wasn't really scary except for the part when they go inside Mrs. Jeeper's creepy house.

The characters in the book are: Eddie (the school bully), Howie (Eddie's friend who is not a bully like Eddie), Liza (a girl in class who thinks Eddie is so silly), Melody (Liza's friend who thinks Eddie is a pest) and Mrs. Jeepers (their new teacher).  Eddie tries to get rid of Mrs. Jeepers like he does to all of the other teachers. The kids think Mrs. Jeepers is creepy because her eyes glow bright green and her broach glows even more when she rubs it. They think she's a vampire because Howie read a book about vampires and witches that said vampires were allergic to garlic. All Howie could find was garlic salt and it worked, she was sneezing once class started because they scattered it all over the room.  Is Mrs. Jeepers a vampire?  Well, you'll have to read the book yourself to see.
