Beverly, Bat Your Service is a humorous picture book that will have young readers giggling at Beverly’s antics. Beverly the bat loves hosting guests and makes sure he has everything a guest could possibly need from snacks to activities to toilet paper. The only predicament is that no guests actually came to stay. Beverly is beyond excited when a human family moves into the house and really wants to give them a warm batty welcome. Of course, what Beverly thinks is a warm welcome is very different than what humans would like, and chaos and hilarity ensue.

What I Liked: I love a picture book that can be enjoyed by children and adults. I found myself laughing as Beverly wanted his home to have a pleasant scent and spritzed Eau de Rotten Eggs. The illustrations are adorable and add to the humor of the story, especially when you see Beverly’s excitement versus the humans' horrified expressions.

Beverly Bat Your Service is a hilarious read that will be enjoyed by readers of all ages.
