Bob is a penguin who does not like to be cold. While watching the puffins fly, he realized that, if he could fly, he could visit warm places. Despite being discouraged by other penguins, Bob works hard and eventually learns how to fly with the puffins' help.
Children and adults alike will enjoy this picture book. The illustrations are bright and bold, set off by a contrasting white background. The author is creative in his almost "Wile E. Coyote" approach to Bob's attempts to fly. Children will delight in imaging where Bob will fly to next.
