Chicka Chicka Tricka Treat is a companion to the classic Chicka Chicka Boom Boom in which it is Halloween and the alphabet letters are sneaking their way up a tree in their unique costumes. Suddenly someone swoops in and the letters come crashing down, is this the end of their fun or will they pick up where they left off?

What I Liked: This book will delight fans of the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom series as it follows the same pattern as the original story. The big difference with this book is that it's set during Halloween so there’s a spooky tree introduced and the letters are all in various costumes. The illustrations throughout this book do a great job of engaging the reader and keeping things light hearted and fun. While each letter is in a unique costume, the costume doesn’t make the letters unidentifiable which is important when children are learning their letters.
