The story of jealousy, triumph, ad fun, all in one. D.W. Thinks Big is an Arthur book about his younger sister, D.W. If your baby-sittees watch the TV show, they may like the book and even be familiar with the story.

D.W. thinks she should be the flower girl at her aunt's wedding. She's big right?! Arthur gets to be the ring bearere and boasts that it is a big boy's job. D.W. is smitten with the green-eyed monster and getting a turn, soon! When in the ceremony, Arthur drops the ring and it falls into a vent, no one can get it out of the vent. Everyone tries, but it gets them dirty. D.W. to the rescue! She gets it out and has her 5 minutes of fame! 3 stars!

D.W. Thinks Big will be thoroughly enjoyed by the kids you baby-sit. I liked the idea of teh young triumph over the old. It is happy and cute. I recommend this story for kids ages 4 and up!
