Eliabeth does indeed lead the way!

This story clearly illustrates the passion sparked in Stanton from the early age of four and carrying through her teen years. This is one girl who doesnt like being told her thoughts and opinions dont matter! The fact that she and other females dont have rights just because men say so does not sit any better with her when she reaches adulthood. Thank heavens she takes action and organizes a group of people who feel the same about the lack of rights for women.

Telling the story of this important person and hitting the highlights of her life could not have been an easy task, but the author managed to do just that in a mere 32 pages. This book is well-written and well-organized and the story is told in an interesting and engaging way.

The accompanying illustrations remind me of fun paper cut-outs. The characters have easily identifiable two-dimensional features. These simple pictures do a great job of illustrating, without dominating the simple, clear-cut text.

A charming book!
