Emmas Christmas is not turning out so well. Its been over two weeks since a snowflake hit the ground, and now her grandmother Manna cant make it for Christmas. Emmas mother tells her to open Mannas gift early instead. After carefully shaking, weighing, and ripping open the package, Emma has a brand new matching scarf and mittens along with a bright red pair of galoshes. Emma spends Christmas Eve dreaming of making snowmen.
The next morning Santa has come and gone, but theres still no snow, and still no Manna. Emma decides to talk a walk in the neighborhood, hoping it will help her depression. What Emma find will completely change her life, and shes about to learn a whole new lesson about the meaning of Christmas&
With so many books about the Christmas Spirit circulating around, its nice to find something that feels a little different. Emmas story manages to inspire, teach, and entertain at the same time. With a strong message about the importance of giving at Christmas, this book is sure to be a holiday hit with both kids and parents.
