This baby board book adaptation of Down By The Station in Spanish and English is a lovely addition to the nursery rhyme. I am not as familiar with the tune but the back cover does have the music notes to help. Each page features both languages for every verse of the song. The illustrations contain phenomenal representations of varied skin tones. I was impressed children with hearing aids, vitiligo, and no hair were represented. The inclusion sends a powerful nonverbal message that all children play. Overall, this book stands out from the crowd with the inclusive representation of children and the bilingual approach, which gives it wide appeal.
