Penguin (a waddling, flightless bird) has always dreamed of flying. He convinces the Waddlers to build a flying machine so they can enjoy the same birds-eye view of the world the Flappers (the flying birds) experience. On their first trip, they float directly into a thunderstorm. They need help, so they signal the Flappers in a way that only birds--and four year olds--can appreciate. Its a book about adventure, dreams...and poop...packed with gross-out humor.
