What I Loved: Fly Guy and Fly Girl are back together again, this time to play at the park with Buzz and Lizz. They have a mighty scare when the kids meet a new friend who has a pet lizard named Annie.
Annie tries to eat Fly Girl and Fly Guy, but they are too fast for her. After throwing a few fries her way from their hiding place, they all become friends.
Final Verdict: This is a great addition for fans of the Fly Guy series. It has the underlying message of making friends even when they are different. There were the initial struggles when all they could see were their differences and the desire to act violently. Yet, in the end, people and pets alike are happy to make a new friend. This book continues the tradition of being an excellent series for emerging readers. The pictures are vibrant and the text with all the extra zzz words is fun to say.
