GOODNIGHT, BROOM is a cute bedtime board book that is a twist on the classic GOODNIGHT, MOON. In this book, the reader follows a young witch as she gets to sleep amidst the magical things in her room, with a Halloween reference at the end to all those dressed up as witches for the holiday.

What I loved: This is simple and overall very cute with lots of magical items and references throughout. The book follows the original pretty well in terms of types of things but with a fresh spin of witches and magic. The illustrations are absolutely lovely throughout with loads of detail and color that will keep young readers engaged. Rhymes throughout are also fun to hear aloud, and the rhythm helps with settling down at bedtime.

What left me wanting more: As a small thing, the font is fairly small and can be a bit tough to read in places. The rhythm is also thrown off in a few places due to the length of some phrases, but I think that the same is true of the original, and it is still very fun to read and listen to.

Final verdict: GOODNIGHT, BROOM is a delightful twist on a classic that will charm young lovers of rhyme, Halloween, and magic.
