HAIRY SCARY HALLOWEEN is a delightful Halloween-themed board book with touch-and-feel elements. This book features a magical mouse barber who is helping Halloween characters, including a witch, vampire, and spider, get ready by styling their hair.

What I loved: This is a very fun and silly board book that will charm young toddlers. The book features fun cut-out pages that reveal some fuzzy green hair that is soft to touch and feels great under fingers. Halloween characters get funny magical hairstyles on each page, including some bushy eyebrows for the witch, a mustache and green tufts for the vampire, and a perm for a frankenstein. The final page shows a mirror that children can look into with green hair above, so they can join in the fun.

The writing on each page is relatively short and filled with rhymes. This makes it roll off the tongue and delightful for young ears to listen to.
