Jonah does not want to go to school. Instead, he would rather be like his little sister and go to daycare. Or his mum who works as a dentist. Or even his dad who works in an office. Jonah tries all these roles out, but soon learns that none of them are for him. Maybe school isn't so bad after all?
What I Liked: This is a great way to show kids what it is like for other people in the family. We all have different roles to play and while kids will have days they don't want to go to school, they might find it could be worse!
What Left Me Wanting More: I was unsure if Jonah actually tried the jobs out or imagined it. Either way, he definitely changed his mind fast.
Final Verdict: I Don't Want To Go To School is an entertaining story that shows that sometimes we don't know what other people have to do and that it's important to appreciate what we have.
