I LOVE MOM WITH THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR celebrates mothers everywhere and gives props to everything they do for their children. Moms lift their children up and hold them close, even when they "monkey" around. The illustrations follow the traditional Eric Carle style with bright colors and animals for the main characters.

This is a heartwarming read that I can see us reading over and over again. I love the puns and how high this book lifts my heart. My daughter enjoyed it as much as me and it was the perfect story to read together. I also love seeing the Hungry Caterpillar being featured in another story because even I loved his book as a child.

Final Verdict: This is the perfect book to give as a gift for Mother's Day and is something all mothers should read with their children, especially if you're fans of THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR. For dads, Eric Carle did one for you guys too!
